Some tours don't run on a fixed weekly schedule. You might offer a special holiday tour, a seasonal event trip, or a one-off departure on a specific date. Junglebee's date overrides feature on the Schedule step makes this easy to set up.

When to Use Date Overrides
Use date overrides when your tour needs to:
Run on a specific date that isn't part of your regular weekly schedule (e.g., a New Year's Eve tour)
Add extra trips on a particular day (e.g., a holiday with higher demand)
Offer a seasonal tour that runs on select dates rather than weekly
Block out specific dates when you know you won't be operating

Example Use Cases
Holiday tour: New Year's Eve sunset cruise — add Dec 31 as a date override with a 6:00 PM departure and 20 spots.
Seasonal snorkel trip: Runs on a limited schedule in July only — use the date range and select "Friday" and toggle on "Override all existing timeslots for that time period".
One-time special event: A tour tied to a local festival — add just that festival date with custom capacity.
Difference Between Date Overrides and Blocking Dates
Date overrides: Add specific dates where your tour runs differently than usual
Blocked/unavailable dates: Prevent bookings on specific dates that fall within your regular schedule. See the article on blocking dates for more information.
