Blocking Dates with Schedule Overrides

Prevent bookings on specific dates that fall within your regular schedule.

Written by Michael Rouveure

If you'd like to prevent customers or agents from booking a tour on a particular date or a date range, you can block those dates on your schedule using the override feature.

This is particularly helpful when you want to plan future closure dates or scheduled maintenance of a resource vehicle.

  1. Go to Manage > Tours/Private trips & charters.

  2. Click Edit next to the tour you want to modify.

  3. In the left panel, click Schedule.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Schedule panel to find the Date overrides section.

  5. Click Add date override.

  6. Click either A Single Date OR A Date Range, depending on what you need.

  7. Select the specific date or date range you want to block.

  8. If using a Date Range, select the days of the week you would like to block.

  9. Toggle on "Override all existing timeslots for that time period?" (it will turn green when enabled).

  10. Toggle on "Unavailable all day" (it will turn green when enabled).

  11. Click Save Date Override.

You can view these steps for both a Single Date and a Date Range in the video below:
